NADS come away with win despite being short staffed!
The Moose jaw NADS beat the odds this weekend as they took down the top team in the league with out three of their key players. Missing starters Emil Christianson, Tryan Sapergia, and World renowned rugby star Murray Smith. The NADS still managed to beat the Rogues 27 -0
The NADS had a 8 - 0 lead after the first half which could have been a lot worse had they capitalized on some very aggressive play and scored the numerous times they were within the 22 of the Rogues.
The NADS play of late has been very impressive and can be attributed to the impresssive improvement of the backs. Also to all star South African Martin Alberts who has made it his mission to have the NADS in the division 1 final this year. Alberts has been a main contibutor keeping the backs working hard and focused!
Stay tuned as the NADS play June 17 at home vs. the Grads.
The Grads will be a tough team to beat as they are the fittest team in the league having gone through a grueling training program all winter and into the summer at level 10 in Regina and the NADS have been on the Dave Jukes training program for most of the winter and spring only early summer they did realize this program was not working for them!
Mentionables: It was nice to have Reggy Jackson back in the line up, he also contributed to the victory. With luck he could possibly back for the play-offs. Reggy is currently farthering a rugby team of his own in Cold Lake Aberta.
